Phnom Penh Food Photographer

Food photography in Phnom Penh is a large portion of my work as a food photographer these days. The market in Phnom Penh is stronger as it does not rely so much on tourism but on the domestic market. Phnom Penh is underrated as one of the worlds hotspots for food tasting - from cheap street food to upmarket French bistros, Phnom Penh has it all. In this blog, I’ll share some food photography projects I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of.

I have done the food photography for Ox Club Phnom Penh on numerous occasions. A Steakhouse with star chef - chef Rann presiding over the menu, he has the creative freedom to express what he likes with his dishes. The food is always well presented and tastes outstanding. The brief is usually on plain white, highlighting the food itself. I am lucky enough to have tried many of the dishes whilst shooting the menu!

I recently had the chance to be the food photographer for Hops Brewery in Phnom Penh. The first part of the project was to shoot their new menu with some creative shots, and then the same items on plain white which is common to make the food items easier to cut out and use on menu designs. Below is a selection from the food photoshoot in Phnom Penh.

I had the pleasure of photographing the menu for Tob Casual Dining, a spin off from Cuisine Wat Damnak’s team. There was creative freedom for this project so I took advantage of the bright bold colors in the space. I also photographed the menu for Cuisine Wat Damnak later that day.

Thanks for taking the time to look over some of my food photography projects in Phnom Penh. Professional photography is proven to boost sales and make potential customers more likely to spend money with you. If you are considering a food photographer for your food photoshoot, there’s a lot more to my food portfolio which I hope you will visit if you are considering working with me for your Phnom Penh food photoshoot!
